Meet Melissa, aka Auntie M

Hi, I’m Melissa! I’ve been a mom to so many fur babies over the years, so I know how difficult it can be to find reliable, care for your pets when you travel. What if they get sick? What if the medication is forgotten? Will they come back traumatized?

Imagine dropping your beloved pup off at a home-away-from-home: a place they can’t wait to go, and where they’ll be spoiled rotten with focused, personal love the entire time you’re gone.

That’s exactly what I aim to provide at Auntie M’s. After decades of raising four cats and two dogs, I followed my paw-ssion to open a personal pet-sitting business with your pets’ needs at the center.

A few fun facts: I’m called Auntie M for so many reasons! Wizard of Oz is my favorite movie, and I’m married to a Kansas man. I’m a real aunt and an adoptive aunt to many kids and pets—it’s just who I am!

Services + Rates

Dogs (each)

At my home $40/day
I board dogs in my home at a rate of $40 per dog, per 24 hour period. Limit two households, maximum of 4 dogs.
Visits to your home $20-30/day
I travel to homes within a 5 mi radius of my location. Price to be determined at the Meet and Greet. No overnights.

Cats

Home visits $20-$40/visit
For cats, I provide in-home care within a 5 mile radius of my location. Prior to your booking date, we will schedule a consultation to determine your needs.
